Justin Koo is an associate in the Litigation group. He earned his J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law, where he was elected Order of the Coif and Order of Barristers. During law school, he served as a judicial extern for the Hon. Josephine L. Staton of the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California.
While at Berkeley Law, Justin served as co-director of Berkeley Law’s Trial Team and associate editor of the California Law Review. Justin was a two-time regional champion and regional semifinalist in the Texas Young Lawyers Association’s National Trial Competition, receiving two Lewis F. Powell, Jr. Medals for Excellence in Advocacy. He was also recognized as “Best Advocate” at the National Board of Trial Advocacy’s Tournament of Champions.
Justin earned his B.A., summa cum laude, in Political Science with an emphasis in Public Law from the University of California, San Diego.
