Emily Risdon is an associate in the Litigation group. She earned her J.D. from the University of California, Irvine School of Law, where she received a Faculty Award in AI and the Law and Deans Awards in Environmental Law Clinic and Wills and Trusts. She served as an associate editor of the UCI Law Review and the Journal of International, Transnational, and Comparative Law.

Emily earned her B.S., cum laude, in Biochemistry from the University of Miami. Before attending law school, Emily conducted clinical research at the National Institutes of Health as a post-baccalaureate fellow, where she focused on the development of pharmacogenetic and small-molecule precision treatment options in late-stage prostate cancer models.

During law school, Emily worked as a clinical student for the UC Irvine School of Law's Environment Law Clinic and as a summer law clerk for the California Department of Toxic Substances Control. She has worked on several environmental clean-up matters, coordinating attorneys, scientists, engineers, politicians and local interest groups.
