Recent MatterIrell Scores Trial Win for Netlist Against Samsung
On May 17, Irell & Manella LLP scored a trial victory for Netlist in a suit against Samsung, which involves a contract regarding the supply of crucial NAND and DRAM memory products. The jury was asked to determine which party’s interpretation of the contract was correct and whether Samsung materially breached. The jury unanimously found in Netlist’s favor on both issues.
The trial was heard in the courtroom of Judge Mark C. Scarsi in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California.
This victory follows a $303.15 million verdict Irell won for Netlist in a different litigation against Samsung in April 2023.
