Irell Guides Tarantino to Miramax Settlement

In September 2022, Irell & Manella LLP served as co-counsel with Freedman & Taitelman LLP in obtaining a settlement for director Quentin Tarantino in a breach of contract and copyright and trademark infringement lawsuit brought by his former studio Miramax, which involved Tarantino's plans to publish portions of his "Pulp Fiction" screenplay via NFTs (non-fungible tokens). The Irell team included David Nimmer and Connor He-Schaefer.
